At Kansara & Co, we take great pride in our handcrafted Kansa, Bronze, and Brass products. Each piece is created by skilled artisans, carrying forward generations of traditional craftsmanship, and is carefully inspected and packed before dispatch.

Please read this policy carefully before placing your order, as it governs returns, exchanges, and refunds.


1. General Policy โ€“ No Returns

As a general rule, Kansara & Co does not accept returns or refunds for:

  • Change of mind
  • Personal preference
  • Cases where the product matches the description provided

Each product is handcrafted and, in many cases, made in limited batches, which makes resale difficult once shipped.

We strongly recommend reviewing:

  • Product descriptions
  • Dimensions
  • Material details
  • Product images

before placing your order.

2. Handmade Nature of Products

Our products are made using traditional compositions:

  • Kansa/Bronze: 78% Copper, 22% Tin
  • Brass: Pure Brass

Due to the handcrafted process, slight variations are natural, including:

  • Minor differences in shape, size, or finish
  • Surface markings, black/green spots, or patina
  • Slight colour/tone variation from images
  • Edges that smoothen after initial use

These are not defects โ€” they are part of authentic craftsmanship.

Over time, natural patina may develop. This can be cleaned using:

  • Lime & salt
  • Tamarind
  • Vinegar
  • Metal polish

This does not affect product quality or usability.


3. Exchange Eligibility โ€“ Damaged Products Only

We offer exchanges only if the product is damaged during transit.

To qualify:

  • Report within 48 hours of delivery
  • Share clear photos/videos of the product with original packaging
  • Send details along with your order number

4. Non-Exchangeable Cases

We do not accept exchanges for:

  • Change of mind after delivery
  • Expected vs actual differences (size, colour, finish)
  • Products marked non-exchangeable
  • Used, washed, or altered products
  • Requests raised after 48 hours


5. Exchange Process

  1. Share request via WhatsApp or email within 48 hours
  2. Our team reviews within 24โ€“48 hours
  3. Reverse pickup arranged (if serviceable)
  4. Product is inspected upon return
  5. Replacement dispatched

โฑ Processing time: 10โ€“12 working days from approval


6. Cancellation Policy

Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch.

Once shipped, cancellations are not possible.

Please note:

  • Orders may be processed quickly, so cancellation windows are limited
  • Payment gateway / convenience fees are non-refundable


7. International Orders

For international orders:

  • Reverse pickup is not available
  • Damages must be reported within 48 hours
